P-38L-5 "Lizzie V" at the Museum of Flight in Seattle, WA. Photos are from three separate visits, 2004, 2008 and 2017. Interestingly, my older daughter accompanied me in 2004 and my youngest in 2008, each at approximately the same age.

The display is rather unusual in that it depicts the aircraft in flight (gear stowed, etc), and provides unique views of the underside of the aircraft. However, the combination of poor lighting and limited access to the plane made for difficult walkaround photography.

Markings indicate a P-38L-10, however to the best of my knowledge, there was no -10 production block. One of my books has a P-38L-5 "Lizzie V" with the same color scheme and pilot.
