Photos of "White 33" at the National Museum of World War II Aviation, Colorado Springs, from my visit May 21, 2021.
White 33 is a meticulously-restored airworrthy early model P-38F-5 that saw combat in the PTO. The museum is well lit, but because it sits under a large yellow wing of a PBY Catalina the colors are a bit tinted. Visitors can get very close to the plane but there is no way to see into the cockpit or the plane from from above.
In addition to using my DSLR, I took several shots with my cell phone camera's panorama feature, which stitches successive photos together, effecively producing an extreme wide angle view.
